As defined under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, when DMD Installations is working as the principal contractor, we take our utmost care in planning, managing, monitoring, and coordinating the entire construction phase, considering factors such as health and safety risks, welfare facilities, the local environment, and access/working requirements to enable safe working at height, and protecting vulnerable clients.
As nationwide specialists in fascia, soffits, guttering, and cladding we are proud to offer a ‘cradle to grave’, end-to-end solution, starting from initial enquiry to project completion and beyond.
From your initial enquiry, a dedicated surveyor from our team will carry out a detailed survey of the properties. Our surveys include an analysis of asbestos risks, as well as examining cable fixings by the likes of BT and utility companies, ventilation requirements, and any special requirements for example limited access to the property, such as over a conservatory.
The survey then goes to our dedicated estimating department which compiles all the relevant information to create a comprehensive, detailed quote/tender for the client's inspection.
Prior to any works DMD’s preference is to hold a pre-start meeting across all projects with all trades working on the job, to ensure every party is aware of their roles and responsibilities and from then, agree a regular touch point with the client to provide updates.

Before the commencement of works, DMD will appoint one of our dedicated contract managers specifically for your project, this manager then works closely with our teams of installers and yourself.
